The Department of Health together with the National Nutrition Council intensified the Health Promotion on Prevention and Control of Chronic Lifestyle related non-communicable diseases. With this DAVAO REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER (DRMC) celebrated the Philippine Heart Month with the theme: “Alagaan ang Pusong Maalaga” in which a Heart Fair Exhibit was installed in celebration with Valentines Day.

BUNTIS DAY CELEBRATION 2016
In line with the observance of the Women’s Month, Davao Regional Medical Center celebrates the “Buntis Day” as part of the nationwide campaign on Safe Pregnancy. NATIONAL TUBERCULOSIS PROGRAM
Tuberculosis is a disease caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis that is mainly acquired by inhalation of infectious droplets containing viable tubercle bacilli. Infectious droplets can be produced by sneezing, talking, singing and most especially, coughing (one which considerably is the most efficient way of producing infectious droplets).
