The successful conduction of the 4Rs Training was grazed by speakers from Manila and was also attended by participants from different organizations such as the Philippine National Police, City Social Welfare and Development and Provincial and City Legal Offices.

      The Enhanced Training in Handling Abused Women and Children was conducted by Davao Regional Medical Center to recognize abuse in clients, record all the pertinent information in establishing the presence and validity of abuse, formulate a medical management plan and to use multidisciplinary approach in handling clients.

      This 2-day training held on November 17 and 18, 2016 respectively, was spearheaded by the Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Social Worker and the Nursing Department. It was conducted mainly at the DRMC Amphitheatre and other group works and activities were done separately in the adjacent conference rooms inside the OPD Building.

 

   

     In line with the training, DRMC had invited guest speakers from the Philippine General Hospital – Women and Children Protection Unit namely, Dra. Melissa Joyce Ramboanga, Atty. Iris Sylvia Bonifacio, Ms. Anna Teresa Clemente and Ms. Annaliza Macababbad together with Dra. Emilie Ugdang, the head of DRMC - WCPU. DRMC staff comprised the majority of the crowd, but participants from the PNP-WCPU, City Social Welfare and Development Office as well the Provincial and City Legal Offices staff and representatives also went to attend the said training.
