Davao Regional Medical Center participated in the conduct of Surgical Caravan initiated by the Department of Health through its DOH Regional office last October 9-13, 2017 at the Municipality of Kapalong, Davao del Norte where major and minor surgical operations were performed. People were given hope and equal medical attention bringing back their joy of living another healthy life.

The Davao Regional Medical Center heads along with DOH Asec Dr. Abdullah B. Dumama Jr. and Provincial Governor Anthony Del Rosario participated in the Three-Storey Nuclear Medicine Building ground breaking ceremony dated September 28, 2017. Moreover, the blessing of the new MRI facility 1.5T was also highlighted after the event.

As part of the DRMC hospital week, Public Health Department did launched their first ever Health Expo last August 8-9, 2017 at the DRMC gymnasium. It was formally attended by the Assistant Secretary of Health for Mindanao Dr. Abdullah B. Dumama Jr., MD, MPA, CESO III.
The said expo highlighted various successful and existing Public Health programs across the hospital.

Six of our colleagues from DRMC had recently attended the Enhanced Electronic New Government Accounting System (E-ENGAS)and E-Budget System conducted by the Central Office of Department of Health last May 22-26, 2017 at Coastal View Resort, Sto. Domingo, Albay. Particpants from Accounting , Budget and IHOMP had been trained in this weeklong activity.
